Information Sessions

OnCue Talent is the only talent agency that run Information Sessions in Australia.

All talent agencies around the world bring potential talent info for a one – on – one interview where they put the pressure on to sign up the potential talent to their agency. They normally charge them 4 x fees. (1) Joining Fee – anywhere from $300 to $800. (2) Casting Software membership fees – anywhere from $240 – $600 per year. (3) Photos – Anywhere from $300 – $1500 for only 4 photos !. (4) Hi-res or additional photos – from $200 – $2500.

OnCue Talent do not pressure anyone to join our Agency. We ONLY want them if they want us.

The Information Session is a FREE information session that helps educate the potential talent with the following;

  • The different types of roles, such as Background Extra, Extra, Featured Extra, Bit Part, Supporting, Cast Stand-in and Body Double Roles
  • The Do’s and Don’ts on set
  • The Casting Process
  • Pay Rates and Pay Slips
  • How it all works and how to get started.

The main function of people attending these sessions is so they can learn how it all works, the do’s and don’ts and of course sign up anyone who is interested in being represented by OnCue Talent

OnCue Talent do NOT charge any Joining, Membership, Renewal or Casting Software Fees.

They only need to have their photos done with us. The package includes 10 x professional Casting, Cast Stand in and Body Double Photos.

OnCue Current COVID SPECIALS

  • Adult – Normally $395 – On Special for $295
  • Child 15 years and under – Normally $295 – On Special for $195
  • Students (Must have current USI Number) – Normally $395 – On Special for $199
  • Over 70 years – Normally $395 – On Special for $199

Information Session Format

  • Ensure room is clean and tidy and assist the Presenter in Setting up
  • Put chairs and table out
  • Put Business Cards on seats
  • Put Registration forms & pens on Clipboards
  • Greet attendees at front door and mark their name off the App
  • Play the Today Show Interview once room is half full. Then continue to greet attendee stragglers coming in.
  • Presenter will play video
  • Assistant to complete the paperwork on computer if on the second session only.
  • Book people into the photo shoots, take payment, send receipt and assist with any questions
  • Then complete the Talent Register and Photo Shoot Bookings. This must be done before leaving the venue.
  • Take photos of all registration forms then upload to the One Drive App.
  • Pack away Chairs and Table
  • Check everything is safe and sterilised and sign off on the cleaning schedule / board if required at your venue.

Pay Rates

Information Sessions normally take 1.5 – 2 hours max to complete including the paper work

Assistant Rates

  • 1 x Session (2 hours) $30 per hour. Min 3 hours – $90
  • 2 x Sessions back to back (4 hours) @ $30 per hour = $140

Presenter Rates

  • Flat $100 per session includes completing paperwork
