ONCUE TALENT AGENCY – FILM & TV EXTRAS INFORMATION SESSION

Join us for an exciting and informative session where you’ll learn everything you need to know about becoming a Film and TV Extra and stepping into the fast-paced world of screen production!

Our Information Session is held on Level 2 at Richmond Library.

This FREE 40–50 minute session is fun, relaxed, and designed to give you a clear understanding of:

• The different types of extras work available
• How film and TV sets operate
• What to expect on the day of a shoot
• How to get started with OnCue Talent
• What you need to prepare before your first booking

Being on set is a fantastic experience — you’ll meet fascinating people, sometimes even members of the main cast, learn how productions work behind the scenes, and enjoy excellent pay for your time. It’s an opportunity like no other, and we’re excited to show you exactly how it all works.

Before attending, we highly recommend reviewing our website to familiarise yourself with the industry basics and get the most out of the session. We’ll answer all your questions on the day.

Please ensure you arrive on time, as the session begins promptly.

WHAT TO WEAR

Please arrive dressed in smart casual attire, as first impressions are important in the screen industry.

For the ladies, if you normally wear makeup, please come with your hair and makeup already done. This ensures you are camera-ready, as we may take your photos on the day for your casting profiles if you choose to proceed.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Please avoid wearing white, very light, or pastel-coloured clothing, as our backdrop is white and these colours can cause you to blend into the background — resulting in the classic “floating head” effect in photos. Mid to dark tones or bright colours work best and photograph beautifully.
